Heh considering that half of the humans in our family weren't aware of the chickenses imminent arrival, we hadn't really talked about names till they were exploring the backyard!!
I did go through a stage of naming my pigs real names (that were themed), but not for the chickenses due to lack of thinking time. Which may be a good thing!
*UPDATE* They behaved well... ate weeds and left alone the basil, parsley, tomatoes &c; as well as going to bed in their coup at around sunset or earlier. All tuckered out.

Do they have names?
Ours do.... and we haven't even got them yet. The names were the selling point for Tops.
Chicken pick up organised for tomorrow.
Squee!!!!
We bandied about a few names, but we've pretty much settled on Elvis and Godzilla. What about you? What are your pre-named chickens called?

In my youth, the neighbours always had a bunch of chooks that would wander into our yard... and occasionally into the kitchen to steal catfood.
I don't expect that the neighbours had names for them. We always referred to them as 'The Ladies Committee'.
Thus I figure that the new girls have to have suitably CWA names. I love that Mindy's chooks are Madge and Beryl.
Ours will be Dulcie and Jean.
*NEWSFLASH* The chickens are now on the loose!

was looking at the photos on Flickr and couldn't work out what the strange bird was... juvenile kooka works for me.
