Beans lots of beans lots of beans lots of beans

Time to harvest the broadbeans!

Even after shelling them there was quite a bit of bean harvested. Weighed in at 1.1kg.

So how much plant was it for that much bean?

Everyone loves Magical Trevor!

I like broan beans, although I am a fussy miss and usually insist on the double-peel (although not if they're really young and tender).

ahhhhhh Weebls! been a while... The Dinghy does like a bit of badgers every now and then, but I have to watch other things in advance to make sure they're not too weird and scary (even for me!) :-)

Indeed... the controversial double-peel. Apparently it isn't just you. To answer question number one, we're trying to make "Tameya" (broad bean patties) http://www.recipesource.com/ethnic/africa/middle-east/00/rec0019.html
so the mix has been made but the contents put in the freezer for now. No idea how good they will be yet, but they did smell alright. Also, the skin on the bean is a little bitter as well which might also explain the double-peel.
